Gary Pergolini Jr.

Gary is an interdisciplinary artist who has spent most of his life in and around Philadelphia, PA. His artistic journey commenced at Delaware County Community College and blossomed further at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). It was at PAFA where he was first introduced to foundry work, and since then, casting has become a cornerstone of his artistic and professional practice. Since graduating, he has worked as a craftsman and foundry worker. Gary dedicated five years to Stratton Sculpture Studios, a fine art bronze foundry. He has successfully completed commissions, both independently and collaboratively, in various mediums from his studio, formerly located at Philadelphia Traction Company. Currently, Gary holds the position of Foundry Apprentice at the Metal Museum in Memphis, TN.
